That's how she figured out the multiple personality thing with Jim. Though I'm still confused at how she came up with that conclusion based on the facts.

Have no idea! This is actually when I began disliking the book...an average journalist could not diagnose and/or cure/control someone with such significant personality disorder. For me it was completely unbelievable.

Sorry this one is a little hard to compute and make sense of. Chelsea, I'm quite sure you are on the right track. Can't you see how multiple personalities are plausible with this preface. Seems clear and easy to understand from here and what we've read.
