Finished my first book, . I know I've read to at least #7, and possibly read #8, so it was a re-read for me (from over seven years ago, though, so I'd forgotten most of it by now). I've heard bad things about how this series ends, but for now I still absolutely adore every single book. And I will now go on the record that, unless something drastically changes (think the Bill thing, if you've read this one), my OTP for this series will always be Sookie/Eric. <3

Just finished my second book from my chosen series, . Even though this is still in the ones I'd already read (I think #8 was the last one, and this was #7), holy crap that ending. I knew going in that (view spoiler)[the hotel was going to explode, and that it was the Fellowship of the Sun's doing (hide spoiler)], and as I was reading I remembered as soon as the plot points were subtly introduced that (view spoiler)[the bombs were in the suitcases, and that Jake Purifoy was behind it or involved in some way (hide spoiler)], but the violence of it just threw me away. I'm not sure if I even breathed during those chapters. Hoping to get a third book in before the end of the month (I already have From Dead to Worse checked out from the library, so I'm all ready to go), but I make no promises.
