Yeah. Exactly! I'd really miss you all if we stopped talking or something. I really like talking to you all!
What would we call said group?

Haha, that's spot on! If the Darkling dies, I will need some serious group therapy. I hope Leigh can do better than that, though.
Okay, sounds good. . .And description? Rules? Public/restricted/private/secret?
Yeah, the Darkling must live! Well, at least he'd better.

I know! Probably most of us will cry if he dies!

Make it public and rules :
1. Anyone who cried/had a fit/or wants to feel better after reading ruin&rising join this group!
Okay.
Should we try to have discussions on other books too?
Should we try to have discussions on other books too?
Okay. . .So maybe less fandom specific title? The Bookling? Idk. . .

Should we set the topic as "Books & Literature" or "Friends and Common Interest"?
I'll put the sub-topic as "Friends"
And we're all agreed on "Public"?
What should we have as the country?

WHAT BOOK?"
It was Some Quiet Place, by Kelsey Sutton. Mind you, it wasn't an overly fabulous book, but it was pretty good.
Thanks . . .would anyone be offended if I put "United States" as the country just because there is no "none" or "International" or "Other" etc option?

I'd prefer "In the Darkling's bedroom", but I won't take offence ;)

I'd prefer "In the Darkling's..."
Lol Lys you are a genius!

I'd prefer "In th..."
*blush*
I checked. Not an option. Ah, well.

I don't remember all of it well but I thought to share it here because although it is only a dream it was cute and I hope some of it comes true... At least the part where the Darkling lives on after the story we're reading. (Also I woke up at 5:30am thinking the graphic novel was real and I almost log on here to tell you.)
There was one on horses, in which the Darkling was talking with Alina's horseback riding instructor. He was amused because the person looked very intimidated by him. In the end, he got Alina a beautiful, of course, black stallion and both go dressed up as peasants for a ride. (They were riding towards a distant cabin.)
There was another in which herring breakfast is served and the Darkling is looking for Alina to join him and can't find her. He's about to start without her when she appears with a plate of pastries. He asks where did she get it and she says she has friends in high places and starts to laugh. It finishes with him trying not to laugh and looking at her like "Really?!" and he goes back to his herring.
There was one about them sneaking out from a formal party, like the one in S&B. Unfortunately, I don't remember much of it.
There was another one that was a whole page of Bahgra and Alina drinking tea in awkward silence. I don't remember much of it except that it was really funny.
The last one I'll mention is the my favorite. I remember the title and everything, it was called "On why they fight" and it was like 2 parallel stories of the Darkling and Alina having basically the same argument. In one page, he has to leave for 2 weeks because he needs to see some stateswoman Alina hates and on the other page Alina is leaving to see a friend (who must be Mal or Nikolai). Alina can't go with the Darkling because she was not invited. The Darkling can't go with Alina for obvious reasons. It ends with a slammed door on both panels (it's Alina slamming it on both cases). Then the door opens again. The trip is over in both stories.
Alina is asleep. It's dark and it gets darker when The Darkling enters the room. He says I missed you. In the parallel story the Darkling is in bed, wide awake, Alina enters the room and makes like tiny firefly lights (could she even do that?), she also greets him "I missed you." In both stories there was a short sassy dialogue, and the last panel is them, the next morning. In the story where Alina came back, they're sweetly embracing. In the story where the Darkling came back, they're on the floor, covering up with a torn curtain. The one who was originally in bed tells the other: "I like it when we fight."
It was sweet and funny. And I wish this graphic art/fanfic existed!!

I've seen a couple messages on that. . . .

I love you! *hugs* *goofy grin*"
I love you too!! I wish I could draw so you could see it :) It was beautiful and the Darkling was a happy man, in every story. (Not super smiley, but smile-in-his-eyes happy.)

Lol best fanfiction ever!
I had a dream once that was like this :
Me and my two friends at prom and we are listening to my Romanian teacher's speech. The a phone rings. People realize it's my phone. The teacher is angry and forces me to put the call on speaker. The someone asks "Miss Elena Robu" and I'm like chalk white "yes ... Who is it?" And the caller answers "Leigh Bardugo, I'm calling you to ask you if you would like to play Alina's role in the movie since you really look like her" all this is happening while my English teacher translates and I'm like "It would be an honor Miss Bardugo" my friends who read the book Look at me with their mouths hanging and I Close the phone. Everywhere dead silence and them People start clapping my friends who read the book come and hug me and i start laughing and everything is great and they make jokes since my prom dress is Black with a golden pattern on it and it looks like a kefka and them .... BAM i wake up! :((
It was such a good dream!!

I would LOVE to play in Any scenes even with Bokhtin( I'm a pretty good fencer and I can throw a pretty good fight). Also I have the Alina Look don't you think(brown hair, white skin, like my friends always tease me that i have vampire skin, plus i am from a Russian bloodline)
That'd be cool for you. My best hope for a part would be an anonymous Fabrikator. Apparently they don't have to fight, and historical sword is not by any means a strength of mine.

Ooh maybe if you acted you Could keep the kefka :D
I don't think you're supposed to keep props/costumes (though apparently some people have managed it)
