August 2009 Challenge

Every month we will have a dual-themed challenge, and the minimum goal is to read 2 books. For more voracious readers, you can read more.

The two Challenges for August are:

Read a book from a Goodreads Author

Read a book from one of the Group Members Shelves. (this group of course lol)

To sign up, just simply pick your books and post it. Again, you can read only 2, 4, 6, etc, depending on your interest, time, book availability and reading speed.

Does the goodreads author book have to be paranormal?

I know the group is focused on the Paranormal and UF but we don't want to confine our readers into those categories for our challenges :)

We might even look into expanding our monthly reads to other genres if there is enough interest!

possibly a stupid questions (yes I am a noob LOL), but what constitutes a Goodreads author??? Does that mean they just have to be listed on this site??? I guess I am confused as I haven't found a book yet not on the site, but then again I just started adding so....

Well when I made the topic for this months challenges I didnt know it would be hard to find a list of goodreads authors.

But if you click on any book and then click on the author (to go to their goodreads profile page) - It will say to the right of the profile image in the box that they are a goodreads author.

Here is an example of a goodreads author:
