I'm new to this group, but wanted to let you know that debut author (and Los Angeles resident) Kemper Donovan will be speaking at the Studio City Branch Library this Tuesday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. Described as “delightful” in Booklist’s starred review, the book explores a tantalizing premise: would you agree to spend two hours a week with a stranger—just talking—to collect half a million dollars at the end of a year?

The event is free, no registration required, and we'll be raffling a signed copy of the book. We'll also have some Coffee Bean Iced Coffee and Iced Tea!
