The Broken World by James Oswald, ISBN 1405917784 has the page count as 500. My copy goes up to 571 (572 if you count the Acknowledgements page). I looked an the worldcat site which seems to have three entries for this book. One does not have page count, one gives it as 592 and one which gives it as 570, which is the last page which has a number on it (the last page in 'chapters' in this book do not have numbers written on them).

original 500 pages came from onix...changed into 572 with refer to worldcat's 570 page...
worldcat doesn't list unnumbered page, I think...
Thanks for your help. Makes sense, can be hard to know when to draw the line.
