I read a preview of this in a YA sampler, but it was only the first chapter. It was good, but I wasn't immediately drawn in. This preview was longer and actually made me put the book on my TBR list.

I just read the prologue and first chapter. It was ok. The writing style is good and the story is well-written. I'm just not intrigued into the plot itself.
