2B....maybe? I might have not asked the right question for this one. It's part of a quartet but not one of the main 4 books. It might not matter b/c one of two MCs is a musician! And that's a harder goal so maybe we should use this there?

Also it was good enough that I want to read book 1 so I could do that for 2B...

ETA: also there was fire. A funeral pyre and campfires.

Only whole numbers for quartet task 2B, I'm afraid. But a funeral pyre sounds perfect for 5B! Yea!

If you need to switch this one with 10C, that's fine...the precis doesn't really support my claim on the psychic...but Visions of Heat is also a psychic book (see claim below)...hmmmmm I'm wondering if this trend in reading should be telling me something!

I must read this series. I've heard nothing but rave reviews.

message 3965: by prag ♻ (new)

prag ♻ (janayanation) YES! A lot of people aren't liking her latest books because this series started out as YA and now the author is including a lot of mature content, so you might want to read a bunch of (differently rated lol) reviews before you do. If it were up to me though, I would make it, like, compulsory reading in schools. It's sooo good. It's past 12am here and my eyes are burning up but I just can't stop reading EoS.

Meh. Kinda boring really. Repetitive. :/ And the language was...interesting. I would've pegged it for earlier than 1964.

For my next book, I'm reading Cross Kill. It works for: 4B (Cross is Alex Cross), 4E, 5D, 6E. Also possibly 6B, 6C, 9D, 12D. I'm fine putting it on any task.

6E and 9D seem like the hardest to me. Can we just make notes and hang onto this one for now? I've finished my mandated 2 books already. Holding it would allow more flexibility for the team. If you want to slot it in now, tell me where and I'll get a quote or info to back up my reasoning.

Next up: Helen and Troy's Epic Road Quest
