Lory | 629 comments I found two books that look good for published in 2000.

Either I will do:
Shadowland (The Mediator, #1) by Meg Cabot
or
English Passengers by Matthew Kneale

depending on my mood for the flight.

It's a crime novel, but I don't mind putting this on hold if someone else wanted the crime square. It's also quite short, so it might be better to hold this space for something longer.

Ella | 367 comments Man and tetris! Hmm i actually had my eyes on man from the beginning for 'wild man' by kristen ashley but a lot of people want it and my book would take a while since its almost 600 pags.

Im goin to go with TETRIS- The Wedding Game (Reality Show Book 1) by Amy Matayo since tetris is a game and my book title says game . am i right or am i right? Wait, did i say it right?

Awesome!

I wouldn't be surprised if we might be able to fill in a pattern for a bingo board after this... I think we'll have a few banked books that won't fit in anywhere. I'm trying to finish The Warded Man in case it's needed, but other than that I'm just reading random books that hopefully will end up fitting somewhere later.

Yea.. Im really hoping we can get one more card and do a small pattern before the weeks up. (Though i dont exactly know wen bingo ends).
And i didnt know u were already doing a man book so i guess it worked out perfectly. U gt the man and i gt the game( thats a weird sentence haahha)

Yeah, it's such a long book though that I wouldn't mind if someone jumped in with something shorter in case it took me a while to get through.

Just a quick visit, but still I might not get much reading done so I'm happy I didn't claim any squares.

Ha, I love the phrase Mother-In-Love! I might steal that; I always go into this over-verbose explanation which is like "My mother-in-law-ish, who has the same relationship to me as a Mother-in-law except the whole legal marriage nonsense..."

And it's sad that the punch in the throat book wasn't that good. Such an awesome title!

message 3613: by Ray (user2637) (new)

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Yay! Totally steal it; I'm sure I stole it from someone -- I'm not that witty. ;) And she's really great too, my MIL. I love her so I feel really lucky especially with all the evil MIL stories one hears. She and my FIL are so great actually that we're trying to get them to come live with us (because they really want to be in Santa Cruz area and we have a big Victorian with lots of space) but they have cats and are sort of done moving for awhile. :/ They might rent one of our spare rooms for a "vacation home" though!\

And yeah, that book title is great! I think I'm just not the intended audience, which I assume to be moms who are very involved with the schools to which their young kids go. *shrug* Totally foreign to me. My mom never spent a day volunteering at my school because she was working. So I couldn't identify with any of it really.

Totally agree Lory - I love these kinds of challenges. I was doing the Kindle Bingo Reading challenge but that kind of fell by the wayside with Wobble!!

And with this Wobble Bingo, I love the picture squares and how we can be a bit more creative in getting a book to fit.

I am a member of quite a few Goodreads groups (because I am a reading challenge addict) and NBRC has to be my favourite - the mods are soo creative!!

Bingo does not end for another 6 days plus a few hours.. (on Saturday the 10th) so I bet we can definitely do one more card with a small pattern at least. I should be finished with my current book by Monday at the latest.
