Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments So our score from Wheel already exceeds our score from Olympics... I'm not sure why that seems disappointing to me, haha. Maybe because Olympics seemed like so much work and Wheel seems so easy? I like to think that we are beta-testing this challenge. Everyone is learning a lot to apply to future challenges. :)

Kazen We have lots of books so to the Wheel we go! I'm trying to use up books with fewer available letters first and avoiding using books with colors in the title. Just in case :)

eta: This go round covers our fiction Milon boast, too! Six of the seven books had fiction on the main page.

Keeper Chronicles Awakening by Katherine Wynter By Katherine Wynter

So so book, not as good as the first and I hate when a book ends suddenly to set up a sequel, I think a good series means each book is a complete work in itself.

That said the characters were - Rebekah , Gabe, Dylan, Nicholas, Mia, Collette
So lots of letters we can use and black items on the cover. 8-)

Now what to read next? Are we spinning for a new work anytime soon?

Well done! I'm afraid we can't count the black body on the cover - for the purposes of the challenge an item is defined as a thing and that's a person, not a thing. No worries, though, we have tons of black items so see us through. And your book has an O in the spell out, yea! :)

Hi all!

We're coming up on the end of the Wobble Week, woo! Let's plan on rolling for a new word in 24 hours or so. We have more than enough books to complete KINGDOM a few more times... I'm excited to see how many points we can rack up!

And some good news - we can use more books from the NBRC Travel Agent shelf, yea! We can use it to fill in tough letters, and there's even some titles with colors we can grab. So if we happen to land an icky word hopefully we can complete it one quickly and move on to something better. :)

Hard to say more without knowing what our next word is, and we have a day or so before that happens... so read and rock on! :D

I wasn't a huge fan of this book. There were a LOT of characters that I had trouble keeping straight, some of them being very flat and similar to each other, without strong personal motivations or desires or personalities. I also felt like I was too dumb for it, and didn't really get what was going on most of the time. Some scenes were cool, but most of the time it was just like "weird stuff is happening and I don't know why."

Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments Thanks ladies. Still not sure what's wrong with me. Level 10 headache since the 19th ( finally down to the 6 range which is almost like not having a headache after a 10 for so long). 1 PCP visit, 2 urgent visits, 4 ER visits, 9 holes in my arms for IV, 2 shots, and oh many blood tests later and they still don't know what's wrong with me. Fun fun. Have a neurologist consult tomorrow. Then eye doc to rule out anything there. Maybe I'll need glasses? Anyway, lots of meds and sleeping going on over here, not a lot of reading. Gotta find a new book...

A lot of docs are thinking migraine but I've never had one. And I tried the "poor man's" migraine cure (ibuprofen, Benadryl, caffeine--which is what's in some of the rxs, they just add a barbiturate for sleeping) and it didn't touch my pain. :/ hopefully I'll know tomorrow. At least my CAT scan was clear! Feeling optimistic atm, as my headache has died down a bit and I can eat today.
