Yea for book hauls!

Out of those three I'd say that the October book/goal is a great one to aim for, but if another book steals your heart faster that's fine too. ;)

It turns out the original pub date in gray is a year with no month, eep! That means we can't use this book for the month task. :(

I know the publishing world is over paranormal but I still love it, and who says you can't have your paranormal and your secret babies, too! ;)

No worries about the wobble shelf - I've forgotten it many times myself, I just don't tell you guys about it, hehehehe.

Sadly this is a little short of red for that task, but we can use it for March!

To find the original publication month - go to the book page. It will say "Published in xx, yy" and after that, "first published in zz, aa". That first published date is the one we go by. If there isn't a first published date the edition you're reading was the first.

Agreed.
I'll try and finish up my #10 book over the weekend, then I'll see what's going on with the current cards and see if I can target a specific tasks. Won't worry about spell-it out unless it's a really weird letter, since those can be covered by almost anything, and usually we can find a TA task at least.

I agree as well. After I finish my current book, my guess would be I could fit in only 1 (or maybe 2 short books) so I suggest we decide what to concentrate on and work on that.

Essential oil in title = TA bank, lavender. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender

I pulled Lory's banked book from #8 for level 10 of weapon. TA has Shadowed (Brides of the Kindred, #8) that can replace it there. I chose these books because I had the epubs of them so was able to search them. :)

Card 1
Read a book first published in May = TA The Aftermath
Read a book first published in September = TA Memoirs of a Geisha
Read a book first published in November = TA Unwind
Read a book first published in December = TA Fated

Card 4
Mainly gold cover OR era where gold is main currency = TA The Mask of Ra (looks gold to me, but also I suspect they use gold as currency in Pharoah’s time) or TA A Knight of Seven Kingdoms (they use gold in the tv show…)
Under 200 pages = TA THIRDS Beyond the Books: Volume 2
Under 200 pages = TA Zoo 2
Someone dangles a reward to get someone else to do something = TA Ready Player One. The prize is what has all the gamers (essentially the whole world) playing the game.

I didn't do Card 3 because there is no "star" book on TA shelf and spell-it-outs are easy.
