Ladders are harder to program into Excel due to all the variables. I have my ss programed to truncate the first/last word and the first/last 3 letters, but there's a bunch of area in between there (like first/last 4, 5, 6 letters) which makes processing the data far from 100%.

Being able to do just three matching letters should theoretically give us more options than the chain, but it's easier to think about it as a chain. So difficult!

I also might volunteer to read some short things that happen to fit if I can access them and they sound remotely interesting. :P

I think this one looks the best so far. There are a million books that start with City. Five opens up Slaughter-house Five -- weird, classic, banned, and short. All good reasons to read it. I'm sure there are other Five books as well...
