One of my current reads is 506 pages, another 650. Why fantasy books need to be 500+ pages is beyond me ;)

If somebody else has read a Mystery, you can switch it with Sacred Vault by Andy McDermott read by me which is more than 600 pages.

Not yet. It's interesting how 'non-readers' gush over it and readers are almost all 'it's ok but not quite there' I cant help but notice the difference in perception between the two.

I havent read the book yet, I saw scary photos and backed out.

I don't really know anything about the book itself, but I wouldn't gush over the movie. I haven't had the chance to talk to anyone who has seen it besides the person I went with, so I haven't heard many opinions, but I personally tend to be pretty judgemental of movies. It looked nice and the first half was very well done. The second half fell short.

I read MP....it wasn't scary! It was kind of boring. I think I just expected it to be brilliant so was a bit of a let down :(

I feel your pain Kimberley. i went to pop dust girl from my cloud last night (it was originally a netgalley read from 2012 that i never got round to reading but the copy i had refused to download. I think the digital registry thingy had expired so i had to buy it. So much for my book buying ban :-/ Also means i can't buy anything at book club this week :-(
