No...it needs lightning on the cover (picture not title).

Katharine if you read Percy Jackson then that will work

BONUS LABOR 19

Somehow you've managed to anger Artemis...I mean how were you supposed to know that bow belonged to someone am I right? She'll call off the hunt if you complete the following, very specific, some might say nearly impossible, tasks.

◈ Read a book with "first light" in the text
◈ Read a book with "apothecary" in the text
◈ Read a book with "rickshaw" in the text
◈ Read a book with "atrium" in the text
◈ Read a book with "salt and pepper" in the text

Points: 65

Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments From Ashley's list, I recommend ANGELS

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I'd love to volunteer for the umbrella task but Im a bit of a slow reader when it comes to women's fiction... if no one else picks it up til tomorrow I shall then.

It might be too hard, because we have fewer books per week than a lot of the other teams and it's very confusing.
I'm not bored, but I would like the bonuses to have more variety and the relays seem a bit overdone.
Still love WOBBLE :)

message 3107: by Ange (new)

Ange (bentleyrise) | 484 comments Agree with Noa, Im not bored also, dont want it to end!!

message 3108: by Gillian (new)

Gillian Murrell | 497 comments I agree also maybe we can get it extended till Christmas lol

message 3109: by ~~~N~~~ (new)

~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments No one suggested a book after Forever, and I have a bunch so I could do one myself... but I thought I'd repost in case people missed it.
1. Stalking You Now - Ange
2. Now and Forever - Noa
3. ?
message 3110: by ~~~N~~~ (new)
~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments I'd be up for a WOBBLE extension or WOBBLE 2 :D

message 3111: by Gillian (new)

Gillian Murrell | 497 comments I will see if I have anything when I get back to the post office

message 3112: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 1439 comments Never ending WOBBLE? It would be cool to have a second WOBBLE with everyone who made it to the end of the first one - like the die hard version.

What's everyone's fav challenge been? Have any been too short/long/difficult/easy?

I think our best challenge was Wheelathon and our worst looks to be Olympic

I don't have anything I can access that starts with forever

message 3115: by ~~~N~~~ (new)

~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments I liked Wheelathon, Battleship, and Bingo.
message 3116: by Gillian (new)
Gillian Murrell | 497 comments I read Forever Country a couple of days ago we could use that for number 3
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments Olympics was haaarrd HARD! It was 4 events and it was hard. Olympics was for regular Goodreads user and yes it would be perfect for diehard WOBBLE version!
message 3118: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Gillian wrote: "I read Forever Country a couple of days ago we could use that for number 3"
Okay...so does anyone have a book that starts with country?
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I think Katharine is reading for the lightning task already. :)
message 3120: by Katharine (last edited Sep 27, 2016 10:10PM) (new)
Katharine | 92 comments Kathleen wrote: "I think Katharine is reading for the lightning task already. :)"
Yes...lightning is taken care of...unless you've finished it already Karishma. I could read Country Of The Blind (Jack Parlabane, #2) by Christopher Brookmyre Country Of The Blind.
message 3121: by Katharine (new)
Katharine | 92 comments I've also started A Taste for Monsters A Taste for Monsters by Matthew J. Kirby if we still need a horror book.
message 3122: by Ashley (new)
Ashley | 1439 comments Okay so just need a book starting with blind as the 5th book for the relay. Does anyone have one?
We could use a bonus to rearrange the title words so even a title with "blind" in it will work
message 3123: by Katharine (new)
Katharine | 92 comments "first light" is in The Inheritance The Inheritance (Inspector Trave, #1) by Simon Tolkien and "salt and pepper" is in Wife of the Gods Wife of the Gods by Kwei Quartey
message 3124: by Ange (new)
Ange (bentleyrise) | 484 comments I could possibly do Three Blind Mice and Other Stories if no one else has anything
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I'll read for Blind :)
Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman
I'll start tomorrow, ill just finish Truthwitch today :)
kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments TITLE RELAY
Fit: Flames on cover
In case it's hard to see: (the red colour behind the text and bottom part of the cover is a bunch of flames and if you zoom in you can see the little shadow figures are fighting fireman)
message 3129: by ~~~N~~~ (new)
~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments Okay, so I claimed the flames task but I see there's a book that's been put in the slot?

It also might work for wrestling (e.g. they reenact the wrestling scene from the Princess Bride), but no one in the book does it professionally or anything

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments we used read books dating Sept 11 onwards from Katharine's shelf :)

Main Labor 8:
Read a book with a skeleton on cover ---- Noa

How far along are you with your read? :)

About finding text in books, I think Ashley is using something also to do just that. I have tried the Google book search but I'm not sure how precise it is.

Ashley | 1439 comments Gaaah worst night! No power...no internet...no phone reception. Felt like I was living in the dark ages!

I tend to google the title of the book, author and the quote. Mostly I use google books and amazon preview but sometimes you can find online typed out versions of the book
