This could be used if it suits any of the tasks.

I tend to enjoy them, but only because I read very, very few.

Just checked the team spreadsheet.
Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny is showing as 11 pages (because I listened to the audio).
The most popular edition is hardcover - 352 pages.
It is to be used for the full arm goal.

I'm currently listening to The Nightingale (the most popular edition is hardcover - 440 pages. I previously said it has 480 - I don't believe that is an issue but let me know.

Thinking of starting

Will also read some more of

I think I tried to start that book once, but I couldn't do it. Good luck

Congrats, Noa! With all the odds you have completed the task and that' what matters most.

Great, Kathleen. My best wishes to you for the mega read!

I've been meaning to start on the Dresden Files too. Now he's got a new series to add to the TBR. There's a series buddy read of that here i..."
Dresden Files is my first series in the Urban/Epic Fantasy genre. I started it with lot of trepidation but found that I could enjoy them. This series definitely removed my mental block towards the genre.

For god knows what reason no Internet access at all on my network whe..."
Congratulations, Karishma, for completing the task. It must have been quite an ordeal - at least from my point of view. Completing this during your vacation is really great. Now, Kathleen can be in peace!! hehehehe!

I'm at 60% of Water for Elephants, so I'll be done soon. I'll try to quicken, since it looks like Event 1 will be completed in a bit.
Kat, you posted a message about the wheel for Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe before and that you needed to check first? Did you hear back? If it's okay to read, I can start it now.

Date: 12/7/16
Pages: 335
Fits: Event 1
Can I just say that the ending I imagined was horribly depressing, and when the ending really wasn't horrible at all, I was shocked? It's a good book.
Started Aristotle and Dante :3

Just checked in for a bit. Day was toooo long. Gnyt ladies!"
Yeah. Trying to set up a movie night with a friend.

Planning to read:
In Allegiance - 201-250 pages, Event 2
Fire Touched - Decoration for Chariot (feathers for awesomeness, spears for spiky sides, or lava for I-have-no-idea-but-it-would-look-cool)
Takedown - Coach book

They're stage lights. Maybe we could put headlights on our chariot? We can blind our enemies as we run them down.

Just had a look at the spreadsheet (part of my morning ritual) we havent got all that many books to go before starting bonuses

I'm really enjoying The Nightingale. It's my first book by Kristin Hannah.
Had I known it was about Nazi Germany, I might have stayed away from it - but so far, it's not too gruesome.
When I saw Life is Beautiful, I cried for days and days. I still cannot shake some of that awful imagery. I vowed to stay away from holocaust fiction.

Wheel looks good to me so go ahead :)

I will try and get some books finished in the next couple of days

I own Landline but I haven't read it yet. I always buy books I think I'll love...but then I never read them because I prioritise the library books!! So annoying. Almost wish someone would chop my card up.
I've dropped a few books in the bath/pool/spa/anything else possible. I'm a pro at getting them all dry and perfect looking again now ;)

I have. I read book two as well, but never got around to book three. What did you think?"
I did..."
This convo was a while ago, but were we talking about Angelfall? If yes (if no, ignore me and my memory), then I did like it. i thought it was unique compared to a lot of YA Dystopians (especially anything with angels). What happened with the kids didn't really bother me, but if it did you, DEFINITELY don't read book 2. It doesn't necessarily get worse, but it doesn't get better. I didn't really connect to the characters, but like I said, I liked it anyways. I'd like to read book 3 at some point.

I have. I read book two as well, but never got around to book three..."
Agh, that makes sense. I'm an only child and I've always found that there are some things that don't bother me because of that.

Its exhausting at the moment i will be relived when i have it all under control as I'm working 16+ hours a day right now. But on a good note i can now listen to audio books as i drive around.
