Us and I can read A Bear Walks Into a Bar for fantasy. I'll start Us first.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I think the fantasy task is easier for a lot of us. It's a walk in the park, my TBR has loads. I just gotta choose something easy and not Brandon Sanderson caliber. lol

No more fantasy for you at this stage (remember you can only read one per task)....well unless we get a new fantasy goal later today. FYI you've completed the following;

J-1 - read a book with a title with 6 or less letters
C-3 - read a book by an author who died in 2010-2014
B-9 - read a book shelved as romance by at least 10 people
G-2 - read a book shelved as fantasy by at least 10 people
E-5 - read a book shelved as romance by at least 10 people

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments It's taking me 10 years and half to finish my Asia book. It's boring me to tears and my goodness but the man whose memoir it is sounds like I dunno, arrogant? Or maybe it's just the tone with which it was written. *sigh* Anyone read Three Cups of Tea? Maybe I need a new perspective!

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments I know. I was having difficulty with the book, so I checked GR page for some uplifting reviews and read that. It did not help at all lol. If somebody wants to take the task, be glad to hand it over. Or I can find a different book set in Asia to finish the task.

There are a few around! I remember The Infernal Devices series had more than one narrator

Kimberly (poweki) | 1713 comments The book I'm listening to right now has several narrators!!!

Can it be moved from the same number of letters in the title goal to the multiple narrator one?

Perfect! I had an extra person reading towards that goal so needed to shift someone

Oh boy. I don't think I'm ready yet to face Cassandra Clare. She's one of those authors I'm not too keen to try.

kat (wanderfulbooks) (wanderfulbooks) | 2329 comments Have we used our bonus guess?

~~~N~~~ (chocolate-cannibal-bunnies) | 616 comments Book: Us by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy
Date Read: 25/06/2016
Pages: 328
Fits Task: J-5 - book two in a series
How It Fits: book two in the Him series
Oh God, this was even better than book one! I actually messaged my friend who just broke up with her boyfriend because she's moving and cried with her about the injustice of love. (To be fair, she did most of her crying the other day, so it was mostly me just crying on her). I actually tend to be pretty rational with real affairs and leave romance for the books, so it was great to read something that affected me so.
Yes, I like Classics.
Sorry, I found that Kathleen has already opted for it. Does 'Historical' mean non-fiction or it could be fiction?
message 547: by Elspeth (new)
Elspeth | 101 comments Am now reading The Girl with All the Gifts, which could work for D-3, F-5, G-2/G-5, C-1/D-7, or E-7.
And I'm wondering about B-10 - read a book where sum of pages is odd number (use read edition). I'm listening to the audible version, which according to Goodreads is 13 pages!! Which is ridiculous but is technically an odd number ;)
