Author error message when adding new book

Hello, I tried to add this book with the correct author Virginia_Taylor, but I got an error message saying the "author URL is malformed." Then I tried adding another space in the author's name, and it accepted it. Now I'm trying to take out the extra space, but it still won't save. Please help.

You have to contact Goodreads Support.
There is an error (space) in the website URL on the GR author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
Only Goodreads Support can correct a GR author profile, librarians can't.
