Talk about The Shadow of What Was Lost

Has anyone read this? I read it about a year ago and have now discovered that the 2nd book isn't coming out for a while. Kinda annoying. Could there be any longer of a wait in a series?

We can rant together or talk about the book. I'm up for it.

I have read this book. Honestly, I did not like it so much, but I had to write an essay based on it for my class. I am not a huge fan of these custom writings, but I am interested in reading the second part. When will it be released ?

What kind of class makes you write an essay on a not very well known book? lol.

I think the book will be out early 2017 according to his website.

It grabbed me pretty fast. There was a time travel element that I thought was weird but it was semi needed for the story line. I hear it is comparable to the Mist Bowne and the Wheel of Time. Both of which are long series and I haven't read.

It was the first fantacy type book I've read.
