Bookworm (or do you prefer Plethora?), it's fine to change the shelf later if you want to. You can also add and remove books from your shelf between turns. The main idea is to narrow down the choices from everything in the world to books you've already identified to read.

Agnik- yes, thats fine. I think that's what most everyone is doing, or makeing a smaller shelf from theier general to read. Whatever you are most comfortable with.
I finished my first book, The Tea Rose, for my library fine (Genre of the month, LGBT). Rolled 11 to land on a railroad (travel ahead). I'm planning to read The Vor Game or Carpe Diem for this move.

Next I rolled a 9 - for Historical Fiction. I'm reading:
The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers

Electric Co - In a setting that's new to you
Maybe reading Ella Minnow Pea: A Progressively Lipogrammatic Epistolary Fable
Would you class a fictional island as a new setting?

@Marina I'm looking forward to it. I'm intrigued about how this is going to work.

I now rolled a 7 - which brings me to Yellow: Social Issues
I am reading Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction by David Sheff - about a son who is addicted to meth.

June 21th - Roll 3: 8
Book Sale! - A book by a favorite author, or re-read a personal favorite -
The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult
Is this a re-read of a favorite, or one you haven't read yet? (I'm secretly hoping to land on this space!)

All of which have been on my "Taking a Break" shelf for awhile. All very good, but very long.
**EDIT... I'm going with Crime & Punishment. It's the one I've been dithering with the longest. Also, I already have an Audible copy.

Lol. I decided to roll ahead, just so I could plan out my next book. And it looks like I'll be reading Gone With the Wind anyway. Right after I finish Crime & Punishment.

It's one of only two Jodi Picoult books that I haven't got around to reading yet.
Clare, enjoy!
Renee, good luck! At least this is a great way to get to some unfinished business. Crime & Punishment is a book that I stayed up really late to finish, and I still remember parts of it even though that was 20 years ago. I think it'll grab you at some point.

Camille wrote: "I got "movie adaptation" for my third roll, need to think about this one!"
Do you need any help with ideas for this one, Camille?

I looked in my ereader and found Les Malheurs de Sophie, which I used to watch as a cartoon as a child. Thank you, though :-)
My next roll is good vs evil, I'm going for Swan Boy as it deals with the theme of bullying, it kind of fits.

I don't know if this is allowed, but if it is, I would prefer to have 3 picks for me to choose from. If not, just the one is fine :-)

I don't know..."
The Cuckoo's Calling
The Cost of Sugar
On Chesil Beach (loved this one!)
