Please put my friend's book "Bittersweet: Sanctuary" back in the pool. My apologies for taking so much time to get this book read. I thoroughly read it and gave it my full attention! The format did make it harder to read and I am not tech saavy enough to have changed it.

I'm sorry but your reviews were due a month ago. I sent you a PM through Goodreads on 8/16 reminding you about this and I never received a response.

Group rules stipulate that reviews be done within one month and while we do give some leeway because life happens, this isn't one of those times.

Hi Sasha, I am so sorry for any confusion regarding this book. You may remember that this book didn't come to me for the longest time and everyone was apologetic and then you sent me a second book and then this one came and I committed myself to reading and reviewing both. I am new to Goodreads and really didn't know there was a formal deadline. I thought the only one most inconvenienced here was the author of Bittersweet: Sanctuary since she couldn't get her book reviewed until I finished one of these and got the review to you. This was not an easy book to read, due to the format but I finished it and gave it a heartfelt and thoughtful review. Further, I get all kinds of emails from Goodread, mostly ones that don't apply to me. I did see your email regarding getting the book finished so I stepped it up and stumbled through the print faster and immediately wrote and posted the review. I apologize for not getting back to you personally, I didn't know I needed to do that, I just moved ahead to solved the problem you wrote me about. I know you have a lot on your plate but I don't want Tam D'Lyte punished because of my misunderstanding. Given the mix up on how I got the book and all the initial confusion, I would have hoped for a bit more flexibility. I have read and reviewed three books on your site and I think my input is contributory. I would like you to reconsider your position. If I had known communicating with you directly would have eased your concern, I certainly would have done so.

Hi Nina,

I didn't moderate the pool (55) that you made the request in. That was handled by Attila so I have no idea about any formatting issues or anything like that.

What I do know is this:
7/3 You requested Loved by a Killer
7/6 TaM left word in the thread that you hadn't received it yet.
7/9 You stated you hadn't received it yet and requested In What Remains.
7/9 Attila responded that the book was taken and listed three options.
The subject did not come up again in pool 55 or 56.

Attila doesn't moderate the novel pool, he moderates the pools for shorter work. The reason he was moderating that pool is because he's a crafty programmer and had installed a back end program to streamline the process for us.

Before this program it was a pretty arduous task of updating the pools because everything was done manually. Now it's almost entirely automated.

All we do now is click on a link by your name (which you can't see because you don't have the software) and it takes us to a page with your GR info that says, 'Nina wants to review', and we choose from a drop down menu of available books. Then we open a separate page with the updated html coding along with the post with the Review Pool in it and a cut and paste later, the pool is updated.

This means that at some point (I haven't the time to investigate) that the book became available and Attila assigned it to you.

As I have no idea when you actually received the book, nor about any of the formatting issues I am going to add a review to TaM's book.

That said, when a moderator contacts you it's because we need information. Also, there are others inconvenienced by reviews not being done in a timely manner, the author's waiting for reviews, who could have potentially received more reviews for their own books.
