The Diving Bell and the Butterfly question

Grateful not to have been in that situation or be the wife or the children. Pitiful and adminiring for having found some way of living in this horrific situation and hopeful that it would not last too long (bad, but I have to admit it).

A mixture of feelings, sympathy and then inspired. I could relate to some extent when my severe is at its worst but this is a living hell even though the way it was written mostly didn't in a woe is me way. The film made me a LOT more emotional than the book because I could actually SEE it and made me emotional for days.
