Emma (thestarryknight) | 9 comments I've read this! It's amazing.

QNPoohBear | 120 comments I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped. It was way too formulaic. I couldn't put it down because I WANTED to be wrong so badly. I wasn't surprised at any of the reveals. There were too many coincidences and too much gore for me. I did love the historical details though.

I think I enjoyed A Northern Light a little bit better, however I did like TSG. Jennifer Donnelly does a really good job with historical details.

Nancy West | 1 comments Enjoyed this book very much! Wonderful characters, suspense, and period detail. Donnelly is one of my very favorite YA writers.
