Good job and well timed!

JoAnn (jladybug) | 144 comments Here are my books so far. I have an infant, so many are picture books.

Is Everyone Ready for Fun? We received this as the reward for finishing the Summer Reading Program. It is a fun book about jumping, dancing and wiggling. What's best is helping my nine month old act out the activities.

The Unseen Guest A large part of the book (and series) relates to hunting.

Nathan Saves Summer relates to swimming.

Sink or Swim

Congratulations Carolyn! I love that you read a Quidditch book. I'm surprised more people don't die playing that sport in the book.

Remember Picture books, juvenile fiction and juvenile non-fiction count! I'm sure that you could find something fun that's a little shorter. Good luck.

Have fun, whatever you'll be doing and wherever you'll be doing it! Thanks so much for the heads up for the delay in the Summer Challenge winner announcement. Also thanks for already posting the September challenge. Looks like a good one! What free Natural History Museum passes?

Thanks Debbie! I plan on having a blast.

If you didn't wander into a library this summer head over to www.summer.slcolibrary.org and print out the Summer Reading Challenge Reading Record for adults, fill it out and turn it in at your library by August 31st to get a free book, an entry into a prize drawing and a pass to the Natural History Museum. You can count anything you've done since June.

Jennie | 43 comments I finished the challenge. In addition to the three previous books I listed:
Brownlee Manor by Anita Stansfield - horseback riding

The Grumpy Bunny Goes West by Justine Korman-camping, horseback riding, roping

and since the last one is a picture book I added another picture book, The Black Stallion - riding, horse racing

Debbie (dashforcover) | 1220 comments I just came across a wonderfully fun book that is perfect for next month's challenge: Pirate's Perfect Pet: by Beth Ferry. Too bad I didn't read it two days from now! The story is fun and the drawings are delightful!

Thank you, Debbie, for the suggestion. I am placing it on hold now. Stress free September is my goal! :)

JoAnn (jladybug) | 144 comments I finished the challenge with another in the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place. The fourth in the series relates to sailing.
By the way, this series is so much fun! I read the series out of order (3, 1, 4, 2, and now 5) and it hasn't really mattered. Each has only made me want to read another more. I'm in the middle of #5 and am disappointed I'll have to wait until December 2017 for #6, the final installment.
