no need - just correct your own records as to the number of Golden Oldies tickets you have.

I wondered if you could tell me how I go about verifying the genre? The main page stated 'coming of age' when I started and finished the book, but when I went to post, it was gone. Instead of having a list of 6-7 main page genres, there are now only 4. Do I have to then just change plans at the time of posting or do I go with what was evident when I read the book? Let me know and I'll repost.

Thanks,

The page numbers of a large print book cannot be used to qualify for a Big Book ticket. See the Rules of the Challenge.

"12. Large Type books may be used. The mass market paperback edition of the title must meet the 100 page threshold. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition. Big Book tickets may be claimed for Large Type books if the mass market paperback meets the Big Book requirement. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition."

Neither of the paperback editions of All My Love, Detrick meet the 500 pages requirement for a Big Book ticket.

If you are trying to claim a Golden Oldies ticket, you need to do so explicitly, not just in cumulative totals at the bottom of your post.

Tiffany K post 786

This is just an FYI - no need to repost.

When determining page length for tasks or for big book tickets, the ebook length is not used. Please see the Rules of the Challenge: "If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition." and the Posting requirements: "If you are claiming a BB ticket, you must include the number of pages in the book. Be sure that the link you provide goes to the edition you actually read, with the correct number of pages. If you used an ebook or an audiobook, include a link to the paper edition used to establish length. "

In this case, the paperback length qualifies for a BB ticket, although it is not the same as the ebook length. However, it can make a difference in some cases.
