I remember seeing this middle grade book here, on Goodreads. It had a black cover, I think, with an image of a red-haired girl. The annotation read like something about this girl's adventures in afterlife, in a (boarding?) school.

I don't remember what this book is called, and somehow the Google doesn't answer.

Oh god, fairly recently, let's say a year and a half ago at most. It was supposed to be fairly humorous, judging from its Goodreads annotation, I think.
