Play chapters out of order

Can I program a book to play the chapters out of order? I had a bad day and wanted to
listen to my three favorite chapters without having to search for them while driving. Is that possible? Thank you.

Hi Jennifer:
I can tell you how to do this if you are using iTunes and an iDevice, other than that, not sure what you would do.

In iTunes, pull up your book, and highlight the parts/chapters you want to listen to, then change the track numbers to 1, 2, 3... by doing that the tracks you change will be the first ones played. You change the track numbers by right clicking on the chapter you want to change, and choose Get Info. In the drop down box that appears, find the track number and change it to what you want it to be, then click ok to make it stick. By changing those chapters to 1, 2, 3, etc they will show up first in the sort. Make sure you change the numbers of ones you don't want to be first to larger numbers though, or you could have 2 1's. Oh, and don't forget to change them back before you listen to the whole book again, or it will be out of order. Hope that helps. <><
