Suggestions for books with a non-rake hero, no mistresses?

"Love In the Afternoon" by Lisa Kleypas was inspired doubtlessly by Beatrix Potter. The heroine is named Beatrix and has a menagerie of misfit animals. This book has some sex in it (don't know if that's okay with you), but I'd say the hero is not the usual rake hero.

Ok- I may have already wrote this to you, but big recommend is Jude Morgan's "A Little Folly." It's like a good Heyer or Austen. No rake or mistress wielding hero there.
