I've started two books
and
. One is a BR I've joined but Mistress of Rome is more interesting at the moment so I'll probably finish it first and then Poison Study.

@Bookbuyer - I think I'm going to join in Poison Study too. I've read it before a couple of years back I believe. It's really good. I have no idea why I didn't finish the series. I understand though if you don't find it too intriguing at the start. I remember it being more of a slow paced book but with great writing.

One person has already dropped it because it was DNF for her. :(
Isn't there like a spin off of the series? I checked the poison study series and there was two different names in the series section if that made any sense... I'd love to join as soon as it gets to my library. I'm going to the library tomorrow just because and I'll be lucky if it's waiting for me.
Finished Beastkeeper! I'm on to Princess Academy finally! I've been wanting to read it this whole year.
There is another continuing series in the 'study' series called 'soulfinders'. It's the same MCs but about 10 years later. Is that considered a spin off?
I don't think it's consider a spin-off if it has the same main characters. I've never heard of something like that before. It's kind of a dream come true for a lot of beloved series.

I'm about a 1/4 into Mistress of Rome. I might finish it tonight if I don't fall asleep. :D
My book is moving along quite nicely (50%). I think I might pick up the next book in the series after it. I've owned it for years and I don't think I've ever read it. O.o

I am currently reading Harry Potter 2. I'm liking it enough so far. I finished my last weekday brides book yesterday :( I'm sad they're over. I shall post my review tonight before work. I'm off tomorrow so I'll have my other 2 BRs done then.

Yes. I read the first one last month towards the end of the month and really enjoyed it but this second one is not as exciting. Don't get me wrong. It's still good but not as..
I can understand that. I didn't like the sixth book that much as the others but that's probably because the story was introducing the conclusion of the series.

I'm going to be doing the same. I have some large books planned this month so I found a bunch of 100 pages novellas that I can read at the same time. :)
We have the same plan. I have a couple of larger reads and some classics I want to read as well as some kids reads.
I read Forget You by Jennifer Echols, I didn't like it. I think I have outgrown ya contemporary... I'm reading Unrivaled by Alyson Noel now and it seems good so far
Some YA contemporary books I can't get into either but there are a good many out there that are good. Good luck with the next book (:
That's true. I just don't feel like they appeal to me all that much anymore. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with liking the genre at all, it's just me getting too old lol :D
@ Irene - I get it. I've felt that way with some YA books where the main character acts a little too childish for me to like (:I didn't realize how any points you got if you have a book over 450 pages and it is a buddy read. It's 4 points right there. That's how Elephant is crushing everyone else at 26 points! And they are reading an awful lot. I might end up reading some buddy reads early like I already planned.
I'm trying to get buddies for my books :))
I just got a haul of books from the library! I'm very tempted to read Anne of Green Gables early even though I'm supposed to read it later on.
Goals for today: finish Chamber of secrets a BR 450+ pages.. And finish 50 shades darker a BR 450+ pages.

My goals: Finish BR for Princess Academy (done), BR for Anne of Greene Gables (currently reading), and start Has Anyone Seen Jessica Jenkins. I'm going to steal your goals list. I love making lists (:
I think they keep you on track. Lol. I am enjoying it better. I'm actually almost done with it.

Yea. It's a series BR so we move on. I'm a day behind as a matter of fact, the girl in reading the series with is a day ahead of me. I'll catch up though if they continue to be this good.
Oh cool, it was a great feat for me to complete all of them. I read the in a little over a week the first time during Summer. I did nothing but read. So if you are on a sort of schedule then when are you supposed to finish the last book?
Umm. I don't think I've thought that far. There are like 8 books right? I have a couple other series I want to finish. I'm on vampire academy 5 which I can't wait to start cracking. And I want to also finish the 50 shades of grey one, we are on book 2 now.
@Cinthia - Oh, I guess then you are just reading it together and moving on when you are all done. There are seven books actually. You seem to be good at reading series. I've read a fair share amount but It's always hard for me to finish them for some reason.@Amy - What are you reading Amy?
