I am reading Abigail Adams at the moment. It is a long read, but well worth it.

I'm reading yet another book about Everest (really into mountaineering books at the moment): The Conquest of Everest: Original Photographs from the Legendary First Ascent by George Lowe. Not too much text in this book, but the photographs are awesome!
Finished The Clairvoyants and now I'm reading a non-fiction, The Richest Woman in America: The Life and Times of Hetty Green.
Just finished reading Stephenie Meyer's latest,
The ChemistIt was a fun read, but not as good as the Twilight series.
Yesterday I finished reading Party of One: The Loner's Manifesto which I really enjoyed. Today I'll be starting Witch's Canyon which is part of the Supernatural series. Eventually I will return to the Cozy Mystery genre.
Oops... Discovered I posted the following in the wrong spot last week -- blame it on the cold I'm just getting over. :-\
Anyway, finished it Saturday night. Aside from a couple editing snafus, it was a pretty good rom-suspense.
Being sick this week (nothing serious, cold virus is making the circuit at work), I wanted a quick read, so plucked a rom-suspense out of Mount TBR, KCPD Protector by Julie Miller. Made it nearly halfway through yesterday! (And yes, it's also my "Man" cover for this month's minis.)![]()

Today I started reading Four Weddings and a Sixpence: An Anthology. Pure romance and a nice change for me.

Finished this Tuesday as expected, and am now reading The Sinner by Amanda Stevens. About 70 pages in and it's already getting fairly creepy.

Back when this edition wss released DelRey released all of the Baum books in regular pb size. They then released the Thompson Oz books in oversized pb editions. I think I have most of the Thompsons and all of the Baums.

Sadly I never owned the Oz books. I used to borrow them from the library when I was a kid. I have them on my Kindle now. Lovely that you have the books!

Hope they are still in good condition. When I was moving I brought several boxes of books dowstairs from the attic. Turns out the summer heat really was not good for them. I was only able to salvage some of them. Won't have that problem again since I don't have an attic or basement anymore.
I finally finished reading Witch's Canyon. I rather enjoyed the book. I've started to read Forever Odd by Dean Koontz.
The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson is my current non-mystery read
Now reading
Quarry by Max Allan Collins Was feeling like it was time for some hard boiled fun. I haven't read Colins since his days writing Batman and Ms Tree.
Not a lot of non-cozy lastly, due to the challenges ☺ Two of the last ones were Fractured (a paranormal romance I enjoyed a lot) and Every Dark Corner (one of those thrillers with some hard-reading part, as it's a thriller about child abuse, pornography and traffic with some parts from the POV of a victim and the abuser).
When I can't find a cozy in my preferred niche I will read something unusual like an Agent Pendergast book or a spooky ghost story.
MaryJo wrote: "The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson is my current non-mystery read"I read it last year and I found it really interesting. The author wisely interwove the really two separate stories together so it wouldn't be too dry a read. Enjoy!
I have two books on the go. Curious Minds and Plain Dead, Both have been on my TBR for awhile and will fulfill a TBR challenge.
I've just finished Wait for Dark, and I've enjoyed a lot, as all the book in the series. Some characters are already there for another book ;)

This one is in Mount TBR, along with the latest Patricia Briggs and Jeaniene Frost.
Started Dark Witch by Nora Roberts over the weekend, managed to read half of it.

I finished Forever Odd by Dean Koontz and really enjoyed the story. I find the lead character Odd to be very interesting and fascinating. I just started reading The Art and Craft of Storytelling by Nancy Lamb. Figured it's time to get back into writing stories again. Not sure when I will return to reading Cozy Mysteries.
