Kassi (kassimaurer) | 14 comments This is a book I heard about at BEA this year in the Trends in Young Adult conference session. The trend they were discussing at the time was 2nd person narratives and how in general books are relating to teens through the selfie and self focused teen culture. This book was mentioned where two teens accidentally pick up the wrong phones are are trying to navigate each others lives through the phones. It is YA, and is probably a recent publishing since it is a title mentioned in current trends. I believe it is a 2nd person narrative based on the order in my notes, but maybe not. I didn't ever catch the title, so I wrote that description hoping I could google it later to no avail. Any idea what this book might be? I know that is very little to go on.

Thanks for the response. I don't think so. That book is 10 years old, and the discussion in the panel centered around them having to navigate each other's lives for a bit. I am assuming they could not switch back right away and had to continue with their lives without their precious phones there, and it is a commentary on that in modern culture.

Kassi (kassimaurer) | 14 comments Thank you! This is the panel I saw, so it must be the Wattpad story they mention in the article. I can't imagine there would be two with such close plots discussed in the panel. Not being traditionally published is probably what led to me having difficulty locating it. Thank you!
