- spirit box (spirits) { Yes yes exactly! And we can add in some drama, maybe Ames starts to like him back you know? And then he ends up being like No, I can't, I have feelings for someone else! }

Kauai worked alongside Ames to sooth the wound, chuckling as the three of them made casual banter about the situation. After a few moments he stood, taking a step back from the group to let Ames use her waterweaving to sooth Naheem. His eyes glancing over at Kaarina. He could feel the tension rising, he was definitely going to get blamed for getting them all fired up.

"Are you gonna be okay?" He asked as he lent his hand to Neeham to help him up. The guy was a lot smaller than Kauai. Honestly? He made Kauai feel like a pyramid.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) (( Yeah!! I like that :3 ))

Ames did what she could to make Neeham feel better, even though the guy was saying he was perfectly fine, it didn't even hurt that much. Kaarina pointed out that he was already getting a little bit of a bruise. Of course, Neeham said that she was hallucinating, which earned him a small rock to the shin, which he tried to return, but of course Kaarina blocked it. When Kauai offered to help him up, Neeham smiled, taking his hand and pulling himself up.

"Yep! Never better! It was such a small rock anyways, it didn't hurt that much at all," he replied, winking at the guy before he started to bicker with Ames a little bit. Kaarina listened to them go back and forth, laughing softly at what Ames said to Neeham and when she splashed him.

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai kept his arms tightly crossed across his chest, while watching the commotion. "Well, I'm glad you're okay." he grinned, watching Ames splash the Stoneweaver. He was mesmerized by the way Ames controlled the water, the way it danced around her. He hadn't realized he'd been staring until he felt Neeham's elbow in his side.

"Hey, you alive in there?" Neeham asked, bringing Kauai back to reality, laughing. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." he snickered, elbowing him back. "Uhm, who's that?" Kauai asked, an older woman with a very, very stern look on her face. Studying the woman more as she made her way closer to the clearing, he realized she looked a lot like.. Kaarina.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Ames had no idea the effect that her weaving was having on Kauai, having no idea that he was looking at her. Neeham noticed it however. He noticed pretty much everything. That's why he went and got his attention like he did, acting nice and playful with him, but really he was just making sure he didn't try to make an unnecessary move on his friends. Especially one that he was no incompatible with. All three of them looked up at the woman, all of them knowing who she was.

"Kaarina sweetheart, please don't try to hide behind that tree. I already saw you," Kaarina's mother spoke when she noticed her daughter try to make a run for it. Kaarina sighed heavily, crossing her arms over her chest and frowning. Her mother wasn't suppose to be over her, she was suppose to be in the city still! The woman looked at all of them, knowing who they were, but she was surprised to see Kauai there."Prince Kauai, what on earth are you doing out of the palace? Your father doesn't know you're here, does he?"

message 55: by - spirit box (new)

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai was about to protest and lie, but he knew by the look of this woman that lying wasn't an option "Uhm, well.. you see.." he rambled as the woman sighed and tapped her hip gently. "I'll just be going then!" he bowed, which shocked the lot of them as he backed away into the trees. Not realizing that he'd crossed from the lake, and would have to take the very, very long way around.

"Kauai?" Zaun searched all over the palace garden now. But still his little brother was no where to be found. "Dad is going to kill me..." he groaned, rushing back inside the palace to find the head of the guards. If anyone could help find Kauai, it would be them.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Kaarina's mother, Needia looked at Kauai as he tried to come up with an excuse, tapping her fingers on her hips as she looked at him. She watched as he backed up though, sighing and looking at her daughter with raised eyebrows.

"Mother....I....didn't think you'd be back until later," Kaarina said to her, glancing over at her two friends, but neither of them could really make up a good excuse for her. And she knew that. Her mother could be rather difficult after all.

"Come on Kaarina," her mother spoke, offering the smallest of smiles to her friends,"Ames. Neeham. Have a nice day." Sighing softly, she waved to her friends, who gave a small wave back and a smile for good luck back to her.

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai made his way through the trees, huffing as he went. "Where the heck am I?" he groaned, trying to remember which way would lead him back to the palace. This was obviously a bad idea, one that he really did not think through.

"Kauai's missing?" Vander, head of their guard sighed.
"He's been missing since this afternoon.. I tried to look for him myself, but he's no where in or outside the palace.." Zaun cupped his neck nervously, of course Vander would help him look. But he obviously knew he'd have to pay him off. "I'll make sure to get you some extra pocket coin if you can venture out with me to search for him." Vander pondered the bribe for a minute, and then nodded.
"Alright kid, but you owe me for this one."

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Kaarina and her mother started to walk back through the woods, Naadia looking at her daughter and sighing heavily.
"What were you thinking Kaarina? I told you that you had to do your studies before anything else and I also specifically told you that you weren't allowed to practice your weaving like that," she started scolding her. She was no mean however, Kaarina's mother was no cruel in the slightest. She just expected things of her daughter that Kaarina wasn't sure she could or wanted to fulfill.

"Mother, I told you a million times, being the High Priestess is not what I want to do. I love weaving, it's my favorite thing to do and I want to continue to do it," she said, earning a quick shake of her head from Naadia.

"I've explained to you time and time again why you cannot continue your weaving," she explained with a heavy sigh. Kaarina said no more, knowing that there wasn't a point.

- spirit box (spirits) Vander readied himself in golden chain-link armor and his spear, offering the same to Zaun who declined. "I doubt he's gotten himself into much trouble.. plus he's a weaver, most wouldn't dare challenge him." Vander shook his head and continued to get ready before the two men set out to find their prince.

Kauai wandered the woods before deciding to just ask for directions. Cautiously he made his way out of the wooded outskirts and into the small village just beyond it's boarders. Taking in the sights, he quickly found a few women, acolytes mostly and asked them the way. "Oh Prince Kauai! How did you get down to these parts?" The youngest one cooed, linking her arm in his. "Don't you worry honey, we'll lead you back home." another grabbed his other arm, beginning to drag him up towards a large Chapel.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) It didn't take long for Needia and Kaarina to get back to their home, Needia looking at her daughter with a rather irritated face. Not an angry one, but an annoyed one.
"I have to ask, what was Prince Kauai doing with you three? Why was he out of the castle?" she questioned. Kaarina knew why her mother wanted to know that. She was the High Priestess for the king;s family after all and though she never met Kauai before, Kaarina often hear her speak about him and his family.

"He said that he had never really met other people our age. I think he wanted to make some friends. He was friendly to us," she replied with a shrug, not going to give it more thought than she needed to as he started to turn,"I'll be up in my room doing the studies you want." With that she headed upstairs, passing by a few servants as she went. She was upset, she didn't spend as much time with her friends as she wanted to. With all the studies she needed to do and how protective her mother was of her, it was really hard to make and keep friends. She was really lucky that she met Neeham and Ames though.

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai wanted to question the three acolytes, but decided it was best to keep his mouth closed, since the three ladies already skwabled enough amongst themselves. As they neared the Chapel he realized where they were taking him. "The High Priestess?" Kauai finally found his voice, as all three ladies perked up instantly.
"Well but of course young prince! She will keep you safe while we inform the guards of your whereabouts!" The eldest one croaked, smiling faintly as she led him up the marble stairs, the other two waiting at the bottom for her swift return.

Vander and Zaun ventured through the many vendors and carts that were scatter amongst the landing of the palace. Forcing their way through some very persistent merchants. When they finally hit the palace boundaries, Zaun stopped the older man, sighing. "Remember our agreement, okay? No word of this to father."
"Yeah, yeah. I got it kid. Lets just find the prince." Vander scoffed, pushing the gates open and leading the way down the sandy path towards the small village that lay just before the palace.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Needia watched as her daughter went back up the stairs, rubbing her forehead and sighing heavily. She knew that it wasn't always easy for Kaarina, she knew that her daughter wanted nothing to do with taking over in her place. But she was the only one who could considering that they did not have another daughter. They tried and tried and tried until they finally got her. So she, unfortunately, had to be the one to take over after her. Needia was about to walk into the other room when there was a knocking on her door. Turning around, she quickly answered it, surprised to see a woman...and the Prince whom had been with her daughter earlier.

message 63: by - spirit box (new)

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai's face burned bright red as he saw who in fact, was the High Priestess. "High Priestess Needia," the acolyte bowed, showing respect. Kauai on the other hand, was frozen in place. How awkward could this day get. He felt a gentle nudge from the acolyte, forcing him to take a step forward into the Chapel.
"It seems our young prince has wandered off and become lost, I offered to bring him here and give him sanctuary while we inform the Emperor that his son is indeed safe and ready to return home." the elderly woman kept her hand firmly on Kauai's back, trying to comfort him.

Kauai, on the other hand, didn't feel such comfort from that. He could see the way the High Priestess was looking at him, and instantly he felt ashamed for leaving so quickly earlier. "Uhm, Hello.. again," he mumbled, his eyes darting and gluing to his feet.

The two men made their way down to a small village, scanning the crowd but there was no sign of their prince.
"How far do you think he could have gone?" Vander grunted, watching as a few Waterweaving woman made their way by, waving flirtatiously at the soldier.
"Not far, he's just a kid." Zaun had no time to even notice girls, he was too busy thinking of the ways his father was going to murder him if he didn't find Kauai before sundown.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Needia raised her eyebrow when she looked at the Prince, putting her hand on her hip and looking at the woman who spoke to her. She nodded her when when she bowed to her, listening to her words. She had no idea that the boy was going to end up here, however it was the safest place for him to be at the moment.

"Yes, thank you so much for bringing him here. Please, let the Emperor know his son is here as soon as possible. I will have my servant Rund go with you just in case," she explained, looking behind herself for the man, who was a fairly buff middle aged man. He nodded at her words, quickly putting on some shoes before he exited the home. Needia looked at Kauai, hearing his words and nodding.

"Yes, hello again indeed Prince Kauai," she replied, motioning with her hand for him to come inside,"I will take him from here. Thank you so much for bringing him to me." Once the woman said her goodbyes, Needia shut the door, turning around to look at Kauai, her hands still on her hips. She, again, did not exactly look angry. Just...maybe a little irritated.

message 65: by - spirit box (new)

- spirit box (spirits) Needia's expression reminded Kauai a lot of his mother's when she was displeased with something he did. His mother wasn't an angry woman, never could be. But like any other human being on Earth, she didn't agree with every choice made by others. "I'm sorry," he stuttered as he cautiously made his way into the grand foyer of the Chapel. He'd only ever read about this place, but it was more beautiful in person than it was in the pictures.

Zaun and Vander made their way through the hussle and bussle of the small village, coming upon a few young acolytes as they did their usual herbal pickings from the gardens. "Excuse me, miss?" Zaun said as he tapped one of the women on the shoulder. The bright young girl with misty grey eyes turned her full attention to him, smiling politely. "Ah, your highness. Is there something I can do for you?" she asked, setting he basket of herbs at her feet.
Vander butted in instantly, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We're looking for Prince Kauai, have you seen him around these parts?" The young woman's face immediately looked worried, she questioned both of the men about how he'd managed to become lost but they easily deflected the questions.

"Well, I'd say your best bet to is ask the High Priestess. She knows everything that happens around here." she finally said, grabbing her basket before returning to her duties.
"C'mon Vander, lets hit up the Chapel and see what we can find."

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Although she had never met Kauai in person, Needia very much considered him like one of her own children and therefore treated him as such. Of course, he was the prince so she did have to be careful. But she imagined he got tired of people always treating him so differently and so politely just because of his title. Her family served under his family for a long time, so she wasn't even super polite with the emperor himself.

"How did you manage to sneak out of the palace like that? Were there not guards looking after you Kauai?" she questioned him with a raise of her eyebrow, now looking more concerned than annoyed. Well, still annoyed, but not as much as before."And how did you come across my daughter and her friends?"

message 67: by - spirit box (new)

- spirit box (spirits) Kauai stood motionless, trying to think of a proper way to tell her that he'd taken the extreme care to distract his own personal guards, sneak off, mostly to sulk about the fact that in just a few weeks, he'd be paraded around with the most horrible Waterweaving princess in the history of Waterweaving.
"I, uh.." he mumbled, chewing the inside of his cheek. "There were, definitely guards.." he trailed off, his eyes giving him away. If there was one thing he could never control, it was his eyes. The pent up worry and sadness leaked into his features as he managed a deep shrug, crossing his arms across his chest.

Making their way up the marble steps of the Chapel, Zaun knocked on the door with a lot of force. He didn't even bother to use the metal handle that hung for that exact purpose.
"Okay their Zeus. Calm down." Vander mused, but quickly wiped away that smile when Zaun shot him an icy glare.

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) Needia stood there in patience, waiting for Kauai to explain to her what he had been doing. Of course, raising so many children over the years, she knew what he had done. It was written all over his face. Hearing his words. she sighed softy, about to reply but then there was a knock at the door. Answering it quickly, she raised her eyebrows at the boys, knowing who they were as well.
"Looking for Prince Kauai I presume?" she question.

Kaarina, who had been up in her room, came down when she heard so much knocking at the door. What was going on down there. Peaking out from the steps, her eyes widened when she noticed Kauai there.
"What are you doing here?" she asked as she came all the way down the steps, putting her hands on her hips.
