So there's this book that I haven't read but I came across the description on Amazon about 2 or 3 years ago.
What reading level it is aimed at-- Not quite sure, most likely YA!
What the story is about-- This girl had a brother who passed away and she has a hard time dealing with the loss. She turns to her brother's best friend who is the only one that understands her loss? I think they would hook up to deal with it sometimes but then the boy would ignore her and be a jerk.
Broken and Screwed is a book that comes to mind but the only thing is that some details aren't matching up....
I remember when I read the first few pages Amazon lets you preview, I think it started in a graveyard? Or the woods- I think it was some sort of party maybe but the girl and the brother's best friend had an interaction and he was quite mean- something that isn't in Broken and Screwed from as far as I can tell?
It can very well be Broken and Screwed I'm just not 100% sure so if anyone knows please help!
It definitely sounds like Broken and screwed...but as you said, the H and h didn't have a mean interaction toward each other at the bonfire. Hmm...This has me thinking now.
