Syncing External Blog questions

Hi, I have a few questions about syncing to an external blog if that's ok.
Apologies if they are a bit 'newbie' and obvious ;o)

A) I have a blog underway on Tumblr - is that a brand of blog I can sync ok into my profile, to replace the Goodreads one I have started?

B) I guess when I sync to an external blog I will lose my content on the Goodreads one, and so I will need to incorporate that content before I overwrite it - is that a fair assumption?

Zoe, any blog that has an RSS or Atom feed should work. And syncing an external blog should not overwrite your existing blog posts.

Sometimes I think I've 'only just' missed the answer to these problems myself - so maybe I'm not doing too bad in that case.
