I’m looking for a book that I read 9 years ago, it was about these 2 siblings named Ben and Jennifer who go to live with their Aunt in a coastal town/ village after their parents die. Ben can see ghosts and he discovers that his aunt is part of a secret society, I’m not sure about that part. The aunt’s really obese friend meets this woman whose name is Yolanda, I think. The aunt’s really obese friend dies and leaves Yolanda the house, she searches the house for some kind of object. Ben goes to the cemetery and he sees a girl on top of a tombstone, the girl isn’t human she’s some kind of a fish creature who has literally huge black eyes. Jennifer discovers that Yolanda is a witch, she has a henchman who is a fish creature and is named Sirius. The Aunt goes to a Nunnery and looks for a nun named Sister Bridget who is half human half sea creature and is described as having literally huge black eyes and coral or seaweed for hair. I don’t know what happens afterwards. But the Aunt and Sister Bridget end up in a boat in the ocean and it’s storming severely, Bridget fights with Sirius and she drags him to the bottom of the Sea where they both die. I think Yolanda dies too I’m not sure, Ben goes to the girls tribe who live in a cave I think and I think they kick her out because she brought a human I’m not sure. The book is for 9-12 year olds, and it had black and white illustrations in it. The genre was fantasy and fiction. The cover background was blue, the setting was in a cemetery. Ben and Jennifer both have Black hair and blue eyes and dark skin. Ben wore a red hoodie sweatshirt and blue pants, he was out in the open while Jennifer’s body is half hidden behind a tombstone. This is all I can remember.

As you saw in the pop-up when you first posted, please add genre and plot details to your header. Many people won't bother to read a post that only says "I can't find this book."

Great, glad you found your book after all this time!
I got lucky with an advanced search on www.Worldcat.org - something like:
Keywords: brother sister ben witch / 1970-2010 / Juvenile / Book / English
(Names are tricky to remember and Jennifer has variants, so I tried just Ben.)
