Review:
I am so in love with this series. I love all the characters, I love the world and I have no idea why it's taken me this long to read the second book. But I'm sure it will take a lot less time for me to read the next one! So much stuff happened at the end, I'm so glad the next book is already on my shelf!

I'm going to try to read Sick by Tom Leveen.
EDIT: Ok, I think I've changed my mind. I'm going with Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi instead.

Started On: St. Charles Place (now owned by me)
Landed On: St. James Place - Author’s first or last name must start with J. - Must read 1 book to own. Must read 3 books if the property is owned.
Read: The Lost Duke of Wyndham by Julia Quinn finished 5/29/16
Review: This was a really good book, that would've been five stars instead of the four I gave it if they hadn't been so annoying about going on and on about the unrealistic insta-love between the two main characters. There was a decent amount of action, the good kind of drama, and more that a few parts actually had me laughing (or at least letting out a very unladylike snort or two). I kinda wanna try and find the second one now, and read it too, especially since the cousin it focuses on turns out to not be as big a jerk by the end of the book as he was in the beginning. All in all, definitely glad I finally got around to reading it (I got it at a thrift store a few years ago and only finally got around to reading it now, for my May Dusty Bookshelf).

Review: This one was a re-read for me, and while it was definitely still a good book, it wasn't as oh-my-gods-this-is-the-best-book-that-has-ever-existed like it was the first time I read it (about a decade or so ago). I forgot just how much I loved Edward. But I'm weird like that. But like I said, even though it didn't become my entire existence like last time, it was still a great read. I gave it four stars, but it was more like four and a half. Not good enough to round up to five, but still really freaking great. It felt like Anita was more of a bad ass to me this time, though, for some reason. The action flowed smoothly (and there was lots of it), the dialogue was pretty schweet, and I will always and forever love Sigmund. ^_^

I should finish my book today/tomorrow and I have a bad feeling I will land on one of the I squares.

Review:
Parts of the book I liked, parts annoyed me. I enjoyed Juliette's very distinct voice throughout the book. I feel like it really emphasized how damaging her treatment and upbringing had been on her mental state. The dystopian world was ok, but I would have liked more description. Juliette's relationship with Adam annoyed me though. It was too instant for my taste. I understand that they had history, but still, it was very abrupt for me as a reader. All, they kissed too much (can you tell I'm not a big romance reader?). Seriously though, crazy stuff is going on around them and all they want to do is make out. Priorities people!

New space: Water Works - Read a book that makes you cry.
Oh dang. This one is tough because you don't always know if a book will make you cry until you read it. This might take a while.

Review: This was a somewhat odd book that ended up being really interesting, but a tiny bit confusing at times. I absolutely adored the author's writing style (it was quite beautiful), but the main character just did so many things that made no sense, even with her being a teenager with possible mental illness(es) that I couldn't get 100% behind this book. Like when she (view spoiler) or when she (view spoiler) . Just completely random stuff at times. It was interesting and engaging, but those bits of randomness took way more away than it gave to the plot. *shrugs*

Review: This book came with lots of cool twists. I'm really glad I re-read this before continuing on with the series. Still really like it! Never thought (view spoiler) I can't believe I've read this book and can't remember anything haha.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review:
I liked this book overall. I thought the blend of history and modern-day worked well for the story. Honestly, I did prefer Gerhard's story more than Louisa's. Louisa did get on my nerve a bit with her love triangle BS and the fact that she had no friends her age (besides the 2 boys she liked). I just don't trust characters who don't have friends. But this one did finally make me cry with all of it's family rebuilding at the end and the relationship between Gerhard and Lasse.

Start: Water Works
End: Pennsylvania Avenue
Task: Read 2 books where the title or author's name starts with P.
I know I have one book not too far down on my TBR list, but I don't know about a 2nd one.

Book 1: Each Step is the Journey by Patricia A. Klinck
Review:
I liked the travel aspect and would love to do part of the Camino myself. However, there was a bit more angst than I would have preferred. I understand it's the author's feelings, but I would have preferred a more adventure/travel viewpoint.
Book 2: Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs
Review: I'm enjoying this series a lot. Mercy is a great heroine and I enjoy the world Patricia Briggs has created.

Start: Pennsylvania Avenue
End: Income tax
Task: Read a book with a rich character, a really poor character or someone that works in a bank. 150 pages or more

Review: I got so confused by the conversations in this book. One moment everything would be fine and then all of a sudden they would be shouting at each other and I would be lost as to why. Also, I had a bit of trouble keeping track of all the old ladies.

Review: Boring. That's almost all I want to say. Weird? Pointless? Really far-fetched? Unbelievable? Correct. This is a series I definitely will not be continuing. The way that the main character just accepted that (view spoiler) Just really retarded. Worst book I've read in a LONG time. I really didn't want to keep reading it, but I did for a challenge. Never again am I reading this book.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
