Discussion prompts
- What did you / will you read for this task? What did you think?
- If you went for the new-to-you option, did it deliver? Is it funny?
- if you re-read, why did you choose this book? What is it about it that brings you back to the same book?
- Do you read many comedy books or do you prefer more "serious" genres?

Marina (sonnenbarke) I've read Three Men in a Boat for this task. I really liked it, although I "only" gave it 3 stars (which is a good rating for me, though not exceptional) because some parts were not as funny as others. But on the whole I found it a really nice and funny book.

Well as I said, it certainly was funny. It was a new-to-me book, but I had already read Three Men on the Bummel and Stage-Land: by this author, and I knew it was going to be a good and funny book. I really like this author's sense of humor!

I must admit I don't read many comedy books, I prefer more "serious" genres, although I do read some less serious books from time to time. This has to change, though, as I need more lightness and fun in my life! :-)

Martha (marthais) I finished The Trouble With Women yesterday and loved it! It's a short graphic novel about how women have been erased from history and I'd recommend it to all.

It was a new-to-me option, I realised I didn't really have a go-to humour book that I'd already read. It definitely delivered, I laughed out loud at several points, it's incredibly witty!

I don't normally read a lot of humour books, I like quirky stories that may have some humour to them, but mainly prefer more serious things. I agree with you though Marina, definitely need more lightness!
