Anyone else having a prob with GR/FB?

Greetings fellow authors - before I intrude on Librarian time, just wondering if anyone else has been having probs trying to add the GR label to their official FB page? I've followed the instructions at least 10 times [some of which contradict each other], and I promise I DO know how to read!! One random forum post mentioned the facility was having a glitch. Please, I beg you, don't reply with a repetition of some instruction - especially anything posted before April 2016. Maybe it's a browser thing, though I doubt it - I'm using an up-to-date PC with Windows10 via an up-to-date Firefox browser. Awaiting your collective or singluar friendly reply. Bigtime TIA.

I don't know about GoodReads linking to Facebook, but I wonder if it is a Facebook-specific problem. Somehow I have fallen off the notifications for several FB pages I follow. When I review the settings, "receive notifications" is checked, but I don't get that page's notifications. This has been going on for over two months, and I can't figure out how to activate the notifications again, when they show that they are active but obviously are not. It's something I've got to deal with FB about, but technical problems at FB might affect how other sites like GR can link to it.

I know I tried linking Facebook to my personal page and it wouldn't do it. That's why I created a business page. I created a Goodreads link to my author page with no problem.

Many thanks for this, Lenita. I suspect you're right, FB seems to be in a bit of tizzy lately. On balance, I'm not sure it's worth it. I'll just have to blow my own trumpet - ta-dah! ;)

Thanks so much for the offer, Jaclyn - on balance, though, I'm not really prepared to put up another FB page. C'est la vie, innit!
