Deb Rhodes (debrhodes) | 16 comments Please stop by my website and read the new interview with Joan Carney, author of the excellent novel Fated Memories.

This was one beta read I dreaded coming to an end because of its colorful characters, and a plot that never bored. The link to Joan's interview is:

Tara Woods Turner I reviewed this book on Amazon! So glad to find this article and I wholeheartedly agree - an excellent book and am I to hope for a sequel from Ms. Carney? Great job breaking this little nugget, Deb - nice scoop :) Congrats to JCarney for her success.

Deb Rhodes (debrhodes) | 16 comments Ah, thanks Tara! This was one of my favorite beta reads. I know she's considering a sequel; we can only hope!

Tara Woods Turner @ Deb - yep! As soon as the heroine in Fated Memories landed on her bum in the opening scene I knew I was going to love JCarney's style lol. Something Meg Ryan-ish about her writing that I predict readers will really respond to. Enough sparkling vampires, already - let's return to plain old awesome romance novels you can get swept away in lol.

*disclaimer about not being intentionally disrespectful if you are a writer of sparkly vampire books and/or a reader who adores sparkly vampires yada yada

Deb Rhodes (debrhodes) | 16 comments YES! Enough already. That's why this story was such a pleasant surprise for me, it contained a plot element that is not something I'd ordinarily go out of my way to read--but Joan handled it so well, so matter-of-factly, that it was credible and compelling.

Tara Woods Turner +1 expecting good things for this one :)
