And this, my lords and ladies, is why King Stannis Baratheon is the only one worthy to sit on the Iron Throne. The majority of the kingdom turned their backs on him, despite him being their lawful king (and quite a good one as well, I think), yet he still abandoned his seat, risking to lose whatever small lands he has left, so he can save that same treacherous kingdom. The duty of the king is first to his kingdom and his people, Stannis is the only one who seems to understand and care about that.

Roseanne, I don't like him either, but it's not likeability that makes a king a good one. Robert seemed like quite the likeable fellow, but let's face it, he was far from being a good king.
