I love Jaime and all his flaws.
Jaime is pretty legit as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
This chapter proved that Jaime wasn't all looks and golden armor. He has a wit of the Lannisters after all! The way he dealt with his colleagues(?) were fair and smart. I'm super impressed at how he settled the matter between Loras and Brienne. I love how he seemed to know who she was :DI also like how Jaime saw his younger self in Loras and felt pretty cringey about it. Mistakes of youth. You thought you had the world in you hands when in fact you were just his littlest cog running in the universe (how small his "great achievments" were compared to Ser Barristan's extravagance CV). Wait, that sounds strangely like...us. omg Jaime really did sound like a millenial with existencial crisis and quarter-life self doubt to me hehehehhhh
