Publishing and Finding our philosophical-scientifical Books

Most authors of philosophical and science books most PAY the editors (or the journals) for bee published.

I have not pay for publish my latest book Death and History (for details see: http://promocave.com/?p=14755&pre... )... But, the profit for this go to... the publishing house and to Amazon.

And for PROMOTING my book, I must pay the different "service". As Professor associate at one Philosophy Department to my university in Romania, my monthly salary is ... cc. $800....

I and my professional friends has sure that the book is innovative and valued. But for ME is very difficult !

or: "I didn't have to pay to publish"?

If you haven't published:
Amazon does not charge you to publish. They do the work of displaying and shipping your book. What they give you is more than most publishers will offer. And probably more than you could pay yourself if you had to ship and handle orders for yourself.

I'm not sure what features of Amazon are available in Romania. I do know that "little" books are very popular on Amazon. Look at your book and see if you can find a portion that can work without the rest of the book. Edit it into a little book and put it on Kindle. Then you can use the free Kindle promotions to get your "little" book out and bring attention to your "big" book.
