Simon Chase: Zero Footprint

Reading this book by Simon Chase, aka Scott Charnick... Read some reviews on Amazon and most are dismissive of this guy, saying he's using the name of a fallen SOF guy(Brit) and that his exploits are "telling of someone else's tales"!!!

Anyone offer an opinion one way or another, or, if nothing else, advise if this should be classified as fiction or non-fiction???(Not asking anyone to call him an outright liar, though many in the reviews did)...

Thanks in advance... Interesting group here! Glad I found it since my favorites are submissions by such as Brad Taylor, Dalton Fury, Vince Flynn(Kyle Mills), Brad Thor, etc, etc...

Most likely a fraud. Sounds like another "Gray Work LP: Confessions of an American Paramilitary Spy". Exaggerated tales that impress mere civvies like us but would fall apart in milliseconds if put under the scrutiny of actual Special forces soldiers and intelligence officers who worked in the regions that "Mr Chase" claims he did.
