These categories drive me crazy. If you have a teenage protagonist and/or a coming of age story, you kind of have to advertise your book as "YA," regardless of whether the language is college-level and the themes and jokes multi-layered. IMO officially categorizing these books as to age level is misleading, because there is no "14 and up" shelf.

I'm reading Red Rising. Started off good, but depressing. Now it's practically impossible to put down. I just wish the price of the next 2 books was more reasonable.
