This section totally sucked me in. It's a lot like other stuff I've read/watched, in particular Battle Royale though I'm sure most people would compare it to The Hunger Games.
I like this a lot better. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe because of the spy/infiltrator angle?
Interesting about Titus being a red. I didn't see that coming. I just hope he doesn't keep running into other red infiltrators every so often.
I knew that killing Julian would come back to bite him eventually. I didn't really see what else he could do about that.
It's going to be interesting later in the series, because he's coming to like several of the golds. He's seeing that it's not as black and white. A lot of their kids are as big of assholes as their parents and deserve what they get, but not all of them.
I wonder if he'll find a way to make up with Cassius. He's going to need him to take out the Jackal most likely. Unless Cassius teams up with him. That seems unlikely due to the blood feud between their families though. Maybe Cassius will come to accept that Darrow had no choice.
Leaving Darrow for dead was really stupid, but it would have meant an abrupt ending to the book/series.
Oh and another one bites the dust as Roque is probably dead too.

I actually did see Titus as a red coming. I figured there had to be at least one so I was looking for it. I did enjoy this section as well.
