Yes, lots of good visuals this year ;)

I was in social media lockout yesterday so I didn't accidentally hear the winner before having our Eurovision party last night (as it shows at 5am Sunday my time)

message 157: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (daughterofoak) | 3473 comments I'll be participating in Wobble and I'm going to try and read Netgalley books for as many of the tasks as possible.
In a perfect world I'd use only Netgalley books for the challenge, but I think I know myself better than that. ;)

Myst (detetiv) | 54 comments Added 1-2 more netgalleys & 1 non ng arc....

message 161: by Connie N. (new)

Connie N. | 738 comments Oh really, Myst? Can you share the Harlequin link? (like I need another way to find free books!)

message 162: by Alison (new)

Alison (a1ison74) | 2826 comments I got another request approved today and yet again when I went on to download I ended up requesting three more books. I have a bit of break at the moment as my next archive/release date is 31st but I've just realised I have about 10 books with dates in first week of June. Looks like I'll be joining the Wobble relaxation :)

lol! Wear it with pride!

I really need to finish another netgalley book this month. I'm going to start one where they have posted lots of the reviews on the NG page in the hope I can get that last badge for featured reviews!! :o

You are an inspiration!

I, on the other hand, finished this review Will You Won't You Want Me? by Nora Zelevansky but requested two more, though one of them is a preview of upcoming YA. The other is The Loney by Andrew Michael Hurley , which I am very excited about.

Doh! I'm at 67 percent, down from 68 earlier this week.

I'll probably fiddle about with these before I submit to NetGalley but posted reviews for

The Problem with Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout here

and

The Crown (The Selection, #5) by Kiera Cass here

I wasn't 100% convinced by The Problem with Forever but I'm starting to think I just have something against YA contemporary. I'm sure fans of CoHo and Sarah Dessen will love it.

Thought the Crown was a good ending to the Selection series.

Well, since I was traveling I didn't add to my shelf, and yesterday I finished a book:

Kristie | 3596 comments You guys are doing great!

I am stuck... I just don't feel very engaged in the book I'm currently reading. It's really slowing down my progress. Hoping to finish it this month though and have a much more productive month in June.

Myst (detetiv) | 54 comments My problem is I get caught in non arc & forget I have 3-5 book tours lol

message 186: by Alison (new)

Alison (a1ison74) | 2826 comments I've not signed up for any tours so far as I've been worried I wouldn't like the book or wouldn't finish in time.

The ARC I'm reading at the moment is really bad. I think it might just be hitting my particular pet peeves but I will be struggling not to write a rant rather than a review.

Most of the tours are titles I have read before: 1 is a series I haven't read the 2nd book but I loved the 1st one. the other i have no idea when i'm up for the tour i didn't get a email but a arc widget for The Queen's Dance. sad that they ran out for Blue Moon

Squeezed another one in before the end of the month! I chose this one off my shelf because the publisher has posted pretty much every review to their netgalley page, so I'm hoping they will do the same for mine and I can get that elusive badge ;)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments YES! I GOT APPROVED FOR STILETTO!!!! WOOOHOOO
Stiletto (The Checquy Files, #2) by Daniel O'Malley

I'm waiting for that book for FOUR years. Basically, since we had The Rook as a BOM back in 2012.

Yesterday, I was telling a friend about the release day and then stopped because it didn't crossed my mind looking for it at netgalley.

It is also the first time I got approved for a UK & EU only. Last time I checked, Portugal was part of the EU, so, it was time they stopped with the non approval nonsense.

Thanks Connie! I'm so excited about it that I even hunted for my old portuguese written blog, translated my thoughts back then and resurrected it on the new one.

And that was before the approval email. Now I'm extactic!

Myst (detetiv) | 54 comments Booooooo, I got rejected for What Remains by Garrett Leigh
Saddddd. That sounded really good D:

I did get Sweet Tomorrows (Rose Harbor #5) by Debbie Macomber which I'm ecstatic about after I wanted to throw my cell at a wall where they ended at the last book.

Excited to read Blue Moon (Moon #6) by Lisa Kessler , I may have to read the series again as it's been a while.

added: Super Sushi Ramen Express One Family's Journey Through the Belly of Japan by Michael Booth Cursed The Immortal (The Andersen Family Series Book 1) by Portia Perotti Head Start (Cedar Tree #7) by Freya Barker Her Survivor (Black Eagle Ops, #1) by Vonnie Davis The Summer Escape by Lily Graham Nashville by Heart by Tina Ann Forkner

Amanda (daughterofoak) | 3473 comments Three more books read! Now I just have to write the reviews. That's always the most difficult part for me. :)

This challenge is helping me so much. I used to think I'd never get all of my Netgalley books read but now there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
