All it takes is one glance and it will leave you euphorically breathless. The elliptical, snow-white, opulent facade has an eye-catching, embellished, sinuous ceiling as high as the sky which rests on rows of towering milk-white pillars spaced evenly apart from one another to ensure adequate space. On the flawlessly sculpted alabaster-layered walls are veiled with impressively handcrafted opalescent garlands of flowers and rich spiral motifs painted champagne pink and lemon chiffon, an emblem which ought to be showcased, produce a resonant gamut of colors and give life to its surrounding. Luminous trickles of sunlight stream through a myriad of the flanking circular and arched framed windows with such crystalline purity. The concocted coat of rose-gold pastels bedecks the colossal moon-white sacred chamber eloquently of mere innocence and serenity, casting a lingering tranquilizing ambiance. Possessing the power to spellbind any eyes and causing them to indulge in gazing at the intimate details of the sublime beauty, this endearing ostentatious edifice is a reminiscent of the true potential of man-made creations, and is naught but a deep-seated heavenly adorned monument.

Jade | 9 comments The book "The Enemy" firstly takes place in England. The story is set in the late 70's but many of the attitudes portrayed are much more dated than that. Malcolm Jaggard lives in England, surrounded by it's crisp air and bustling cities. As the story flows, Malcolm Jaggard travels to Sweden, continuing his mission of hunting down whoever threw acid into Penny Ashton's eyes. Time passed and the story now takes place in Scotland, and Malcolm Jaggard's year-long mission eventually came into an end, he had already found the enemy.Desmond Bagley

Prudence Purwantoro | 8 comments The book “Forget to Remember” first takes place at a small village town called Lewisham it is an area in South-East London, England. The scene was set to a modern era, where techs and modern things exist. The scene would then change into a more luxurious area where mansions are decorated through the whole neighborhood, expensive cars lining up, expensive foods are served in an exclusive bistro. These two scenes were shown a couple of times when then a new scene was introduced. Bursting with beachfront sports and events, tranquil green spaces within the city limits, the Brighton Pier has a lot of things to be explored. And when the scene went back to Lewisham, everything isn’t the same. Everything changed, so does everyone. Forget to Remember (Cambridge English Readers Level 5) by Alan Maley

Delicia W | 16 comments Tiffany and Delicia - Jane Eyre

The setting of the story was at the Gateshead Hall. It was day time and raining heavily outside, with freezing cold wind. The outside of the hall were beautifully organized with tons of colourful flowers around it. Butterflies were flying back and ford around the garden. The location was full of greenish decorations. Gigantic trees were planted around the hall that could make the building coller. The building is huge and classic, that is painted red with some gradation on it. The area was very peaceful. The main character, Jane Eyre was enjoying herself in the garden side. She was sitting on the grass while writing some stuffs. She could feel the freshness of the wind blowing towards her. The hall was surrounded with many glass windows , that will be easier to look at the outer view. The garden is pretty huge that is enough for garden party. She could hear birds chirping far away, and singing gracefully too.
