Hi. I read this book probably in the late 70s or early 80s. It was definitely aimed towards YA and would probably be considered fantasy. It was about a boy who was learning to unlock the powers of his mind. I don't remember who was teaching him or why. I remember him learning to move a marble with his mind and going into his Dad's mind to try and help him do it as well. In his Dad's mind, he found out he had a lot of power but it was blocked off. It was a paperback (no ebooks back then). Any help if appreciated!
