End of series sadness.

I have had those blues but I must confess that it doesn't happen much. Many series do great for the first 4 or 5 books and then go downhill. But here are a few series that affect me thusly.
Aren't the Bridgerton books aMazing??? Loved them all. Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time gave me the book blues. The series had a great ending, but by the time it was done, I'd been reading them for 20 years and Jordan had passed away. So I guess it was for different reasons. I can only imagine how I'm going to feel when Outlander ends.
They are bloody brilliant. Havne't enjoyed reading a series as much as the Bridgertons in a while. Just wish I could of made them last longer than 2 weeks. Outlander is on my must read list, good I'm guessing?

Very very very very good. Fantastic, in fact. It will keep you reading for a while, too. SO good. Read it now. :)
I have had those same sad feelings for the end of a favorite series too. Then again, I've also had the feeling "Just stick a fork in it. It's done." for some series too.
Oh, yes. I've been brokenhearted over a series ending. **sigh**The good news, hopefully, for you, Laura, is that Because of Miss Bridgerton is coming out any minute. Also, all the original series have epilogue/novellas. Did you read those?
Its out =] I ordered my copy yesterday so hopefully amazon will bring it any day now. I did read the novellas its what actually made me sad because I have the happily ever after version where they're all together. Its a goodbye book really.

I'm trying to figure out how come I haven't received my copy of Because of Miss Bridgerton, if it is already out. Well... I ordered with another book that won't be out until October. And I forgot to uncheck the box that said "ship together." Agggh!
This has happened to me at a couple different points in my life. I remember crying my eyes out as a 12 year old at the end of C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia "The Last Battle". I got the blues after "Harry Potter" and there have been a handful of rogue one shot romances that left me really sad- (I hate to say it- but damn you, Nicholas Sparks!!). The end of the "Divergent" series just pissed me off-- "Hunger Games" I felt content- like they kept it real. But I think it's the mark of a great series/book if you "miss" it when it's done. Leaving you wanting to go back and read it again!

Chorus the "oh no's!"--but this is also very endearing.:) October will be a very exciting month.:)
Well, I just finished the last book of the Survivors' series by Mary Balogh, and I am def. sad about that.

Ive done that before I had to wait 5 months for 8 books to arrive. Gutted is an understatement, so I feel your pin Lisa.

Am I the only person that gets those end of book blues?
If I'm not what are the books or series that left you a little broken hearted when they finished.
