Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 12853 comments First ever song I chose to sing in front of an audience! (sang in a choir before that as a kid, and I was the only high soprano, so got forced to do solos all the time. I did not choose those! lol)

Still one of my go-to karaoke songs too, lol.

Inquiring minds would like to know where Cut-Throat can be found, and maybe even signed up for?

Cuthroat was a once in a lifetime event, unless the powers that be decide other wise.

Basically, it was born of despair and need to spill blood.

And before rumors start and spread, because I already am to blame for a dark period, I had nothing to do with it. I might have supported it with some teasers. But it wasn't my idea nor was I involving with execution. I took a leave of absence during it. LOL

message 1255: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8288 comments I followed Cuthroat only from the sidelines, I knew it wasn't for me. 😅

Mods don't think we've ever done a pairs challenge. We can look at how we might manage it, but don't expect anything soon.

Jenn (engelsigh) | 1339 comments When will we get another Tower Teams?

message 1277: by Sophie, The other one (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 5684 comments Mod
Not all team challenges will be tower teams or wheel. They don't happen on a strictly yearly rotation either so there will be some years when you won't get your favourite challenge.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 6397 comments We're not too proud, LOL.. any challenge is a good challenge! 😁

message 1279: by Christina (new)

Christina (chrissy__) | 3007 comments Sophie, don't be such a bummer! (although I do realize it wouldn't be time for TT (or wheel) yet anyway)

Michael Thomas (mjthomas7980) | 608 comments I still think Hunger Games would make for a fun Tower Teams theme. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6535 comments Never thought of Hunger Games but you're also right on that theme.

Have we ever had a very demented theme like serial killers? Cannot recall

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 6397 comments The one that really seems to linger on is the Restaurant Challenge. Everytime I see the word vinegar, I have flashbacks, LOL. But in a good way, it was a fun challenge.

Jenny | 8050 comments Steven wrote: "Jenny, not all of us like LOTR….

You don't have to like the books. Just imagine the challenges! An underground maze full of pits and goblins, Shelob's cave complete with cobwebs to slow you down and an evil spider to avoid, A big battle between walking trees and orcs, big quests, taverns, elves, wizards, horsemen, and the winner maybe gets to either put on or destroy "my precious". How cool would that be?

I'm sure there were people who didn't read the Harry Potter books during that Tower Teams.

message 1292: by Steven (new)

Steven (gallifreyan1218) | 5272 comments I guess. But… just think how much more fun a Stranger Things one would be for TT Eleven X) just saying. Lol

message 1293: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 8050 comments That could be very fun too!!!!!!

When the hell does the last season come out???

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6535 comments Oooooh love the idea of a Stranger things! I'm clearly in the mood for something dark.

A stephen king universe theme would be cool as well.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) | 1359 comments I'm probably going to be odd man out here BUT I'm totally up for anything that's NOT fantasy, paranormal or romance based-- although those genres seem to be really HOT among the readers in the groups!
