Nick Killingbeck-Turner | 9 comments I have a series of books from childhood, early 80's and I think the books were a special learning series. Anyway I think the characters were blue with spiky heads and I clearly remember one being about a hunt for a Haggis. I think all the characters were Scottish which wouldn't be a surprise as I grew up near the borders. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or have I gone mad? Thanks

Nick Killingbeck-Turner | 9 comments Thanks, the Haggis on the pic looks familiar. I'm now wondering if I've mixed up characters from a series of learning books? Wish I could remember what the blue fellas were called in at least one of the books.

Nick Killingbeck-Turner | 9 comments That's it, thanks very much. I forgot to mention I thought fuzz was in the title. This is definitely it as was primary learning books. Brilliant, thanks again.

Nick Killingbeck-Turner | 9 comments Not wanting to push my luck but another book I enjoyed very much as a child(older so prob late 80's ) was a compilation book of short stories. One in particular about a boy who always picks up things and puts in his pockets such as rubber band or small stone. Anyway they all end up being useful things for people he meets on his way or something like that. If anyone knows what the book is then I'll be very happy. I'm not sure but think school might have been in the title of the book?
